Ok this is a really stupid question but I need to ask it for my own peace of mind..........today is the 31st, my daughter is getting her new puppy on the 10th of September, how many days away is that?...I told you it was dumb lol

Weekdays or business days?  Just kidding.  You have 10 days until the new puppy arrives.  Tomorrow you will have nine days, etc.

ha ha.......UGH, now I feel like a nut, my daughter and I butt heads all the time. I told her 11 more days till she gets her new puppy. see I was counting today as a day then tomorrow as another which would be the 1st, now to me tomorrow would start counting the 10 days and today is the 11th...ok so i'm wrong again lol..what is wrong with my brain? do you see what i'm saying tho?...damn she's going to say see Mom you're WRONG AGAIN..I hate when she does that lol

If you count today then yes 11 days it is.  Without today then 10 more days, I think she wiould be counting those days better than you unles she is a preschooler and even then they know.

If you started counting this morning and the puppy arrived on the evening of the 10th, then it would indeed be 11 days. NOT 11 days and nights, but 11 days.
