Glitchy surveys are costing me my credit.
« on: August 18, 2011, 03:06:18 pm »
I don't like to complain unless it becomes absolutely necessary that I do so. I am very frustrated with the amount of glitchy surveys that I have encountered lately. The latest glitch occurred today. After fully completing a survey, on the last page I was given a We Have No Surveys Available Today page. No surveys? I just took one and it even Congratulated me for my completion. I have been doing these surveys for a year and believe me I've let a lot go both in frustration and money. I am just disappointed in the quality of the surveys sometimes.

I totally understand what you are going through. MyThoughtCounts that I try to qualify for everyday has not had a survey for me since July 29, 2011. It says Well this is embarrassing; we don’t have a survey that matches your profile at the moment. New surveys are available daily, so check back whenever you like. Sorry, and thank you for trying. Before that I was able to quailfy and complete a survey every couple of days. I liked to complete that survey because it was worth a dollar.

I don't know if I have done a survey yet I know I have tried.  Sometimes I wonder who's profile are they looking for because I know we all are different races, ages, genders. So some of us should be qualifing.  I know it isn't FC fault its the company who provides the surveys.  I guess all we have to do is keep trying.  I need to get some offers in or I will have more bonuses and not enough offers when I get closer to cashing out.

You said you completed the survey and even got the congradulations page saying you have completed it.  Did you wait before you closed that page to give the computer systems to communicate with one another?  I usually wait up to 10 minutes and check my account page every couple minutes to see if the survey has credited.

If it doesn't credit in 10 minutes, I take a screen shot of the congradulations page, paste it to my Paint software, add some comments re who, what, when and how much on the page and save it as a JPEG picture with a name that lets me identify it later (ie MTCpoc082011.jpeg).
If I haven't received credit in a couple of days, I'd send a ticket to support with the jpeg picture.  May not get me credit, but it does give FC something to work with.

You may only complete one survey from one survey company in any 24 hr period.  If they offered you another survey, you either didn't qualify for the survey you thought you completed (bummer), or they have a glitch in their system and I wouldn't recommend doing another survey.  If they can't get the first one right, no guarantee they'd do the 2nd one any better.

If they said, they have no more surveys, it may mean they did recognize that you completed the survey and you are no longer eligible to take another until 24 hrs have elapsed.

Hope you received credit for the survey you completed.

I also hope you make a practice of clearing your cookies and temp files BEFORE you start doing surveys for a given survey provider.

Your advice is merited and very helpful but if you didn't notice the author of the post has completed close to 1400 offers and received over $400 for them. I think they know the basics of how to take a survey and all the tricks and tips to ensure they credit. Sometimes the surveys simply DO NOT credit and that is discouraging and frustrating.

FC doesn't get paid either when they don't credit so it isn't their fault. It is the companies that are offering the surveys that seem to be having the technical difficulties in keeping and maintaining an error free system.

I am glad that my point was understood. I was trying to explain that I know how each page will load and continue to scroll through, a kind of pattern at the end of each completed survey, depending on the survey company. This paticlar page just didn't seem load correctly.
