Offer for .16 cents
« on: August 18, 2011, 07:01:51 am »
Yesterday I completed an offer that took well over 30 minutes. I had lists of businesses and a website link and I had to reply whether or not the website was for the business listed. I had to verify information on the website and the credit was only .16 cents. Although I won't complain about an extra .16 cents added to my account, i'd like to see a better credit for offers that take you over 30 minutes to complete.

The daily tasks are always like this, tedious and time consuming, but as you said you were able to get thru it that is great. Most of the time I give up before the task is over.

I think I have done 2 of these offers in my 18mos at FC. These are very time consuming and give you a small reward for your time. I have not tried since. I stay away from these items.

Yeah, I know, are you sure that was not one of those tasks. They are the ones that drive me nuts. Anyway others are pretty simple and some even fun. Have a great day!

I don't know what I think. The tasks can be time consuming, but they actually credit. And I have tried both clearing cookies, and leaving the conformation page open for a few minutes. One even said I had .50 in my FC account, but I never actually got it. On the other hand, I did a .16 task in it credited in a few minutes. It would be nice if they paid more though.

this has been my experience as well. they also tend to have lengthy training sessions on top of the task.

Somewhere along the line when doing those types of tasks, I always give up. I have never finished one. monotonous and long.

There's one in particular that I like to do because once I got the hang of it, it was very easy. It does take about 30 minutes but pays well. It's the one called "Search for terms and record the results", and there are usually 3 of those that are slightly different. When they started appearing on the list of tasks ages ago, they paid $1.10, but now they only pays $.80. Still worth it to me though because I know it like the back of my hand. When they come up they go quickly because they are easy to do and apparently popular.

Well in my opinon
1). If you were screened out of it or they weren't looking for you (waste of time)
2.) If you made it through the tedious process, it's worth it.

BTW: Look for daily tasks that pay like .30 cents. That's what I did!

My attention span is not that huge to begin with. So .16 does not seem like enough for me to hang on for that long.

Thanks for all of your input. :) I appreciate hearing everyone's opinions.

When I started with this task, I thought it said $16 not .16 cents. LOL!!! Totally my fault but it did credit immediately. Within the past 2 days I tried and completed so many surveys and haven't been credited for any of it as of right now. That is a little frustrating. I'm almost at my $25 mark so maybe these surveys have a sense of humor right now and are messing with me.

Where exactly would I find the "search for terms and record the results"?

@chel3179......

They are in the daily task section, but they are not always there. Once they are gone, I've noticed that it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks for them to pop up again. You just have to keep an eye out for them.

@chel3179......

Your eyes may not have been playing tricks on you because there is a bit of a bug in the system. If you happen to start a task and then click on "Give Up" it will go back to the list of tasks, but the reward amounts will then be showing in "dollars" instead of "cents". You actually have to go back to the "daily tasks" tab to get to the list with the correct reward amounts. Just for fun, click on a task and then click on "Give Up" and check out the list that comes up. Sure would be nice to get those kinds of rewards for doing the tasks!!!  ;D
