I have decided to try my hand at making my first website. It is going to be about a game I play online. I looked around at hosting services and domain registry and it is hard to decide on any one of them. All the reviews I can google up seem to be from affiliates and therefore of no value. I decided to start on one of the websites that give you a free website. That way I could get an idea of what I was doing before I actually started paying someone just to realize I was in over my head. I have played around with their site builder and things so I feel more confident about being able to post banners and content and design. Now that I feel I have a little bit of grasp on it all, I do want to get a real site and away from the freebie one. I am still new though so would like to pay monthly and probably have a semi easy to use builder, and of course not too expensive. Does anyone have suggestions that aren't motivated from affiliation?
