whats your plans for labor day

i am upset with the people on tv they have cut the mda telethon i have been watching it on labor day for almost my hole life its been a tradition with me since i have family members that have the dieases jerry lewis is so great doing this now hes not gonna be doing it anymore what a bummer

That Definately is a "bummer" Why are they cutting it? Do they not have a host? That's a major source of funding for the MDA and in this economy that's not good.

Labor Day is going to be pretty slow paced for me. A BBQ maybe with friends or my church may do something along that line. Not like the Labor Day in 1968 when I was in labor with my son. He always kids me that I took Labor Day to a whole new level by having labor on Labor Day. At least his birthday is easy to remember...September 1st.

 am sure they could get a host but nobody is gonna get the job done like jerry lewis every year he ended up making more then the year before he will be missed dearly and i heard this year it will only be on for 4 hours instead of 29 hrs

My plans for labor day, we are planning on taking the kids to the state fair. Having some fun with the kids going on rides eating to our hearts content. Enjoying the day!
