What would you do if you didn't have a cell phone?

It would be something that I would have to get used to for sure but most of my cell calls are work-related so I really wouldn't miss it all that much. I would just have to remember to carry change for having to call home to ask what we needed for dinner. LOL

I don't have a cell phone and Life goes on. The overuse of cell phones in the united states have surfaced a new social problem for Americans. The frenzy driven by the ubiquitous cell phone is obvious in American culture. Seriously, we all just need to hang up and enjoy life as it is.

I just got a cell phone last fall.  I always said if any one wanted to talk to me, they could wait till I got home.  But I am on the road some and thought I might need one.  Just a few weeks after I got mine, my car would not start (bad battery) and I called my son on my cell phone and he came and jumped me off and I followed him to auto parts dealer.  That time my cell phone was a God send.

I'd be just fine without a cell phone.  Only reason I got mine to begin with was for work - either I got a cell phone that could accept text messages (so our system could text when a job crashed for me to fix it), or I'd have to stay up all night long to watch "if" a job came down.  Clearly the "cell phone = sleep" argument won.

I also like the convenience of having it on the road in case of emergency.  But I could always get myself a CB radio again and hail a passing trucker for assistance if that was the case.

I use my VoIP line, and recently Skype on my laptop, way more than my cell phone these days.

What would i do if i didn't have a cell phone. Well I grew up not having a cell phone i had to call from my friends house to let my mom know i was there. But now I think I would go crazy i have my cell phone at all times i listen to music, play games get on the internet. The things that have changed in our lives. I thought i would never need a cell phone I guess until you have it you never know.
