my neighbors use our garbage cans and it wasnt once or twice. its been all the time since they moved in. GET UR OWN DAMN GARBAGE CANS OR I WILL MAKE UP SOME LIE AND HAVE U EVICTED>>I DONT WANT U HERE NE WAY!! 

just tip them upside down till you put your trash out, maybe they'll be to lazy to turn them up just a thought

oh and one day my neighbor took my 2 trash cans and put them in his yard...if it wasnt for another neighbor seeing them we would have never known where they went

 well they seem to look for aluminum cans and metals that they can sell to get money to live on. if u dont want it they they could probably use it.

You could always set a booby trap in your garbage can.  Nothing too serious, just make a small IED that will "pop" and hit them with a bit of powder in the face... then tell them it's Anthrax.  I think they'll start leaving your stuff alone after that!

Yes, my neighbor uses my garbage can sometimes and I don't mine, cause I uses her's when I don't have room in mine. We've done it for years without any problems.

I had a neighbor steal mine once.  They've since moved out, thankfully.  I do have the weekly problem of the damn trash men putting all of the cans RIGHT in front of our walkway!  Thanks.

I think I would nut up if someone used my garbage cans. I would start locking them so they couldn't. Some people are just so rude and have no class what so ever. Nothing surprises me anymore.

The neighbors across the street would actually get up early on trash day and put all their excess bags in all the cans down the street because theirs would be overflowing midweek. They've also been known to wait until their can has been emptied put more trash in it and drag it across the street now to ours

not talking to u dumpster people. i'm talking about u people with separate garbage cans and separate garbage. my neighbors still use our garbage cans. i do want to put them in the garage again but there is no room in there for them now that was have long pallets in there waiting to be sold. i dont know why they choose not to buy their own trash cans.

Good point.  We have to pay for garbage every month.  We pay garbage, sewer and recycle.
Our neighbors have put garbage in our cans. Can not catch who is doing it. 
Ticks me off because if they asked me.. I most likely would say sure if you need to (because you are full this week) But do not just do it!!  If I can NOT fit mine in... because you put yours in... ohhh myy gosh!!!!!

Will tell who ever keeps using our can... to get a bigger tote!!!!  You pay for the size can you get here...

Every once in a great while my neighbor whose house is attached to mine will use my can.

It's really not a big deal ... definitely not something worth arguing about.
