it is hard to pick just one passage as my favorite but i have always been drawn to a verse in mark where jesus is filled with compassion as he looks down into a valley on a group of people and says they are like sheep without a shepard. i don't why i have always liked that verse but it might be that he cares, he's watching and most importantly he understands
