John 3:16
John 12:23-26

There is no fact, or extrapolation of fact which supports such specious religious beliefs nor proselytizing them.

“Millions of innocent men, women, and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined, and imprisoned, yet we have not advanced one inch toward uniformity. What has been the effect of coercion? To make one half of the world fools and the other half hypocrites.”
-– Thomas Jefferson

It isn't a picture of me, fundie - it's a metaphor for your bible-banging.

As long as you fundies keep proselytizing and continuously bible-banging, such mind-numbing propaganda will be opposed.  The implication of the metaphor is not what you perceive it to be.  How do I know this?  Because you've missed the point of metaphors and admitted it before.

I'm sorry you must think I'm stupid.  I know exactly what they mean.  I am being "sarcastic" with them because it gets your goat that I don't acknowledge them the "correct" way you are trying to get them across to me or anyone else.  I'm reversing the meaning of your metaphors to return them to you - kind of like reverse psychology.  As long as you "oppose" with certain type remarks, and use metaphors to "try" and get your points across, I will "reverse" them back to you.  :)

Non sequitur.

I know exactly what they mean.

Based upon your continued 'thumpings, that remains doubtful.

The failure to "reverse" the meaning of the metaphor is evident in your replies.  The meaning has not been reversed, no sucessful "reverse psychology" has been employed, (unsucessful attempts are equivalent to false claims of success).

That's the typical answer I knew I would receive back.  You will not admit to anything that looks like you won't be in control of a conversation.  You enjoy being in charge and using your "professor" type words and metaphors to "get" your points across and seem to have a little difficulty tolerating those who choose not to give in to them.  I love metaphors and using them, but if one is used in a derogatory way towards me or someone else, deliberately, because our beliefs are opposed and not tolerated, then the person using them in a derogatory way will not be given the satisfaction of something that is rude and uncalled for, and instead, returned back to that person.  And see, I understand, now, that you do not like them returned to you because that "undermines" your wish to be the totally "correct" one and messes up the objective you had planned for them in the first place.

Your contentions are false, not because 'I say so' but due to the lack of evidentiary support for them.  Simply claiming something, (such as to have "reversed" a metaphor without actually doing so), constitutes a false claim such as you continue to do.  Such claims fall flat and having to point that out to the claimant reveals more about the false claimant than one challenging such false claims.
