You are showing your true colors towards Christians and the Bible.  I really thought we were adult enough for respect, especially in a thread that: 1. Has nothing to do with your likes;  2. You don't have to "force" yourself to enter; but some are seeing otherwise.

You are the one trying to stomp the Bible verse threads into non-existence.

You don't generally read for content when that content disagrees with your preconceived notions, do you? No FC member can "stomp" any thread "into non-existence[sic]", (although the OP or FC staff could lock a thread or, FC staff could delete a thread).

They are allowed.  You don't like them.  That's your choice.  You choose to come into them knowing what they are.  You do not have to come into something you don't like.

Dissent to them is allowed.  You don't like such dissent.  That's your choice as well.  You choose to read/reply to dissenting posts in this thread, knowing that they dissent with your religious beliefs.  You don't have to read/reply to something you don't like as it remains your choice to use/not use the ignore function.

But you do anyway for the purpose of agitating.

Your speculation is a specious opinion, (no other basis than bias and imputing a preconceived perception).  I've stated and demonstrated my actual intent; to oppose religious proselytization and evangelical propaganda.  This is my choice; you are not permitted to choose for me.

It's not going to stop people from posting things they enjoy - whether they are Bible verses, jokes, serious subjects, witty subjects, etc.  You keep coming in disrespecting ...

Whereas the INITIAL repetitious reposting of religious proselytizing and propaganda is 'disrespectful' to those who don't believe in such superstitions.  If you bible-thumpers have the 'freedom' to start such disrespectful thread topics, so too do others have the same freedom to dissent/oppose/comment on them.  Such threads are not some kind of exclusive xtian countryclubs.

You are only harassing ...

That's your biased perception however clouded by your 'faith'. Posting dissenting viewpoints is no more "harassing" than the original posts they are in reply to.

“Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence.”
--– Richard Dawkins

You are showing your true colors towards Christians and the Bible.

I've never concealed my views on religious propaganda and proselyting.  Perhaps your "faith" had blinded you to the obvious in that respect.

Well, I didn't assume you were "adult enough" to cease treating this, (or any topic regarding religion), as some private & exclusive xtian countryclub where no one can post a dissenting viewpoint.  Isn't that poor horse dead yet?

You are the one harassing and agitating with disrespect toward people simply sharing Bible verses for inspiration to each other.  It has NOTHING to do with you - you DO NOT have to come in - you CHOOSE to come in to be disrespectful.  This is it in a nutshell.  You don't like them - there are things you can do to bypass them.  You CHOOSE to agitate.  They aren't messing with you - you would never know what was even being shared in there if you didn't CHOOSE to come in.  You are not going to STOMP the freedom to post Bible verses that are ALLOWED in here.  People will continue to have the freedom to post these verses whether you "approve" of them or not.  I will say this and I don't usually get this vocal about something - but I thank my GOD that you are not the moderator.  Thank goodness we have a moderator who is fair to everyone with their posting topics and views.

That is great.  I wish I had thought of that.  You have give him an a for effort but those of us who love the Lord just see it at a way to show us how much we love Him.

Here is my final conclusion: fear God and obey His commandments, for this is the entire duty of man.  For God will judge us for everything we do, including every hidden thing, good or bad.  Song of Solomon 12:13-14 Living Bible.

No.  That's merely a supersitious religious belief which has no basis other than blind faith, (and an enormous lack of personal responsibiity and respect for those who don't believe such specious 'commands' ... it's rude and sanctimoniously-presumptuous to spout such specious propaganda).

Prove it using evidence, (instead of entirely blind faith).  That was a rhetorical request since the fundies typically ignore the burden of proof requirement for making, (or requoting), outrageous claims.

“Faith: Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel.”

Well, that is refreshingly-honest, (unless someone changed the sign overnight, much to the chagrin of that church).

Uhhhmmmmm.......constance312003......you know that this post was meant (as HUMOR) to say "Hey you may as well give it up falcon9, 'cuz I don't think anyone is picking up what you are putting down" -
it was not AT ALL intended to tell him he should stop posting on the subject..........

You knew that right......? Maybe?

It may be that the point was too subtlely-made ... perhaps a less indirect approach would be in order - with daily quotes from, say, some wiccan book of shadows for instance? After all, wicca is a federally-recognised religion with all the protections pertaining to any other religion ...

1 Corinthians 15:58

Galatians 6:9

[paraphrasing Buffy The Vampire Slayer quote]:
"If I were trapped in a remote cabin in the woods with a xtian and a werewolf and had only two silver bullets in my gun,
I shoot the xtian.  Twice. Through the eyes."

Is this an implied threat?  I am glad it will be in the archives.  People need to be careful what they seem to be saying or implying.
