Do you like thunderstorms?

Just curious,, how many of you like thunderstorms?
For me it really depends on how close the storm  gets and where I am at the time.
I grew up on the water so I always respect mother nature.I love to watch a good storm come in when I am in a safe place.when I was little we would sit out side and drink lemonade .until it rained
I don't however like dangerous lightning and hail. That's when I pull the covers over my head.

I love thunderstorms too! Especially the ones that pop up in the middle of the day. I also love tornado weather.

Yes but only if they have visible lightning strikes. I prefer the thunder that vibrates your sternum and shakes the building.

      I do not like thunder storms. I think they are dangerous...very dangerous!         I usualy go indoors to protect myself.

Thunderstorms are awesome and we could use one around here now as this area is in a drought.  I won't be caught in a vulnerable place outside during a thunderstorm, but I do like to watch the volatile weather from my covered porch.  I'll sit out there, watch, listen, have a beer, or read my Kindle.  A good Stephen King book will do nicely in this weather.  I've never been scared of storms in VA as there is no real strong threat of a tornado as there was when I lived in Mississippi.

definitely do not like thunderstorms. They do not in any way make me happy. I can deal with the rain, just not so much the storms

I love a good thunderstorm. It can get a little scary if it's too close but I still like to turn off the tv and turn the lights off and just listen to the rain and thunder and watch the lightening light up the sky

I'm not very fond of thunderstorms, but I appreciate the rain.  New Mexico is in a bad drought, but we don't need lightening fires as we've burned too much this year. 

Hail storms scare me here in the desert.  I've been in a couple bad ones.  Hearing it pelt the windows mercilessly, until it breaks in and the rain pours in while you stand helpless...  Coming home to find the outdoors in in your bedroom and the cats are all hiding...  Not for me. 

Right now we're fixing to have one.  It's blowing and overcast outside right now.  Hopefully it'll actually rain, but it isn't even spitting yet.

Thunderstorms can be fun as long as there is not too much danger or damage!  Now, it's blizzards that I really enjoy!  We had a rela fun one this past winter.

I love the rain and watching the lightning storms, but I do not like the thunder that goes with it at all. Even when I know it is going to hit I still jump.

I love thunderstorms!  The lightning is fantastic but the sound of thunder is kind of scary,

No, I do not like the lightening. The thunder is ok because it lets you know you didn't get hit.
