Mapquest sucks

Is it just me, or does mapquest take you on crazy long out-of-your-way directions, sometimes giving you roads that don't even exist...I hate mapquest and wish someone would give me a GPS.

Try google maps I have had better luck and success there. Map quest does not stay up to date I do not think. I always have to change my route personally though to avoid roads I know not to go on.

I use mapquest and I've only had one instance where it did not lead me to my destination. So I would say it works fine for me 99% of the time.

Mapquest is definitely faltering.  It's all about google maps now.

Mapquest added an extra 101 miles to my already nine hour trip. I followed the GPS instead!

LOL..srry but i use alot of GPS and on line map quest..all of them suck.

When we used to print directions out, we used to use Google or Yahoo! Maps.  They were much better than Mapquest.  Their sites also weren't nearly as buggy.  Mapquest seemed to freeze up a LOT.

Now, we don't even print out directions anymore.  We just use the Traffic, Directions, and Information (TDI) feature of Sync on our Ford.

My GPS isn't always right either.  I was looking at houses the other day, and it would not pull up any of the addresses.

Mapquest wasnt all that bad back in the day. Now however, it does leave something to be desired. They dont update it enough.

I have better luck using Google Maps if I ever need to go somewhere that I never been to before. Mapquest seems to take you on roads that will take much of your time and waste most of your gas as well. I enjoy using Google Maps because it hasn't failed me yet

I still use mapquest. I don’t rely on mapquest entirely as much as I rely on my handy dandy Thomas Guide. I don’t think GPS are perfect all the time. I tend to find them similar to mapquest that can also give weird driving directions.

You are so right. Like 500 directions that need only 5. I use yahoo maps. They're pretty straight forward.

I am not a big fan of Mapquest.  I have switched over to maps.google.com.  I love the feature that you are able to pick up a road and move it so and then see how it changes your route.

Yes, MapQuest is pretty horrible. I usually only use Google Maps, or even better, a GPS.
