I think everyone should have equality. Gay people are still people and they deserve the same rights as everyone else regardless of who their partner is.

I am all for it..............I don't have to marry a gay person...........but I can marry whoever I want, so they should have the same opportunity.  I think it really affects  people later in life...your life long partner is sick, but you are not allowed to visit in some hospitals...because legally you are not considered "family".  If something happens to your life long partner, if you have not taken the time to pay twice as much to have your paperwork done correctly your family can come in and take everything you worked together to have  away from your partner.  The problems you will have trying to get insurance or pay taxes (you don't get the married breaks).  Just is not fair.
