Let see, if I had to pick the most convenient invention it will probably have to be the washing machine.  Imagine having to wash your clothes by hand.  That would be awful.

you know, that's a good one... without that it would be bad. when you think about it, how much can you really wash on hand.

The most convieniet would be toilets/running water. I don't think most people realize how grateful they should be for that.

I would have to agree that the toilet is probably the best invention.  I can remember when my grandparents had an outhouse and kept a pot in the bedroom for nighttime.  Toilet is by far the best invention!  More recently, I'd have to vote for the computer

Most recent one is my microwave.  I use it every day.

I do love my washer and dryer but inside plumbing might have to top the list.   :notworthy: :notworthy:

Of course the most utilitarian inventions have already been listed and I agree with them.  I couldn't live without my camera.  It seems silly, but I take pictures all the time and look back on them throughout the years.  I wouldn't recall countless memories of my childs and my childhood memories if it hadn't been for the camera.  I live close enough to my work that I can ride a bike otherwise I may have listed the automobile as my number 1.

Adding to the list, I have to say I love my car.  Would be a whole lot more inconvenient to do any kind of shopping or get anywhere else without some mode of motorized transportation.

I say it's the everyday simple items that are the most overlooked that really are convenient and awesome!

The most helpful, modern, and convenient inventions I have for my daily life would have to be the rice cooker, a bread machine maker, and a blender. I love them all.  The blender is really helpful to cut down on time for making quick smoothies and soups. I don’t have to worry on making bread or cooking rice while I can do other things.
