Can someone tell me if they think business is a good degree to get

I'm getting my associates in business and i wanna know what everyone thinks with the economy the way it is do you think is more stable business i'm specializing in internet marketing i wanna be a big marketer and advertise for everyone else's products and make good money and i'm also going to be able to clean and fix computers do you think this is a good stable area to be focusing on oor do you think becoming a vet would be a lot more stable ? do you think robots would have a better chance of taking over vets jobs or marketing business jobs?

A degree in business is going to give you the business perspective and learn how to manage the books and such. You cant really go wrong. I think that is a decent idea.

I would agree. The internet will forever be. You can't go wrong with fixing computers either. With the rough economy, more and more people are looking to upgrade and fixing existing computers then buying new ones.

Your business degree is great. However, I'd take some medical terminology and health classes. The big money is going to be in Health Care in the future. With your business degree and some medical classes, you could be a hospital administrator or along that line which pays the big bucks. Aim high.

Business is a good degree especially if you are thinking about the internet.  I recieved my associates degree in accounting by march of 2008.  It made me feel good.  My family let me do there taxes and giving me a little for doing it.  Where as before they were not sure about me, even though taking this course didn't tell me anything about taxes because I already know a lot about it.  So go for it and if you don't think it works out I believe you can change what kind of degree you want but talk to your cousoler about that before you sign up if you think you might want to change your major.  Another degree you could go for is computer programing or web designing many people are using the internet for that type of stuff to promote there business so there has to be a need for it.

2 of my brothers have business degrees and got jobs during the recession right after graduating. They also got raises since being hired. Perhaps, it is recession proof field?
