cleaning hazy car headlights

Anyone have a tried and true remedy?

I always get the car washed at least every 2 weeks at a cheap car wash. That keeps the lights clean most the time. If I'm in a muddy environment and know there's a lot of mud splashed up on the car, then rinsing off with the hose helps. Sometimes you just gotta get out there with some windex and paper towels and do a thorough job of it yourself. I hate the bugs sticking to them and there is a cleaner you can use for the front of your car that makes those bugs come off easier when you wash it. I've never used it though so can't tell you the name. It's the bugs that are the most problem for me. Once they dry on the grill or headlights, it's like dried on egg to clean off.

I've used Turtle Wax Polishing Compound before. It worked pretty good.
