This is a simple question, Do you think energy drinks should contain alcohol, why or why not?

NO alcohol does not give You energy. All it does is make you act stupied and retarted. If energy drinks had alcohol then they would be more harmfull to you, Also most people drink energy drinks to keep them awake and focessed on what they are doing. Adding alcohol will make it harder to work and stay focessed

No. Alcohol is a depressant. Energy drinks are stimulants. Last I heard, depressants and stimulants don't mix well The brain receives mixed signals, which may have dangerous affects on the body. I used to mix monster and vodka in the past, but after my previous physiology class, I will definitely stay away from these concoctions O_o

I remember old movies and tv shows where they gave black coffee to someone who was drunk to try to sober them up in a hurry. Later I saw a doctor on tv that said all you get is a wide awake drunk.

I think that all these energy drinks are so harmul and not safe for anyone. Adding alcohol would be a big mistake unless these companies really don't care about the product they are giving to people and kids and teens especially. They need to be regulated, should have warning labels and only should be bought at a certain age like cigarettes and alcohol. Stay with natural energy like vitamins, lots of rest and water and if you really need it natural caffeine like coffee or tea.

Adding alcohol to energy drinks is a bad idea. It would not be good if you had an energy drink to get a little boost at work, and it had alcohol in it. And i agree that mixing alcohol (depressant) and stimulants is not good.

It wouldn't be an energy drink if it contained alcohol. Alcohol impairs your judgement and slows you down, therefore, no energy.

They had some called 4-locos in my area but i hear they became banned because teenagers got alcohol poisoning from chugging them.

I like a red bull and vodka every now and then but it is highly dangerous because it is an upper and a downer.
If you choose to drink those two mixes together please watch how much you drink of it and the rate you drink it!
