Beat the heat

What is your favorite way to beat the heat?   My favorite is taking a nap during the heat of the day or the old Spanish tradition of the Siesta.

going to the beach sounds good or just breaking out the water hose and having fun with the kids will do

I will be moving to Florida and will be in the heat more than living
here up North.  Here we are near Philadelphia and not an Ocean
near by. I just make sure my air conditions are working and drink
plenty of water when I am home.

My favorite way to beat the heat is to go to the library where the A/C is always on. Taking a nap and lessening physical activity also conserves body temperature too. The beach is also an excellent alternative to restore ourselves back to nature.

I AM SOOOOOOOO green with envy!!!!!   I LOVE THE BEACH.
I have no pool, no beach .... so I just stay inside in the air conditioning when it is too hot - go to the mall and shop or surf the net !!

The best way I beat the heat is with the AC on. I use more than ever now. I cant go a day without. I drink plenty of water. The kids and I have ice cream and we some time lessen our hours out in about. We try to do more activities later in the afternoon.
