I think The Exocist was the scariest to me. That one really gave me the creeps.

I say that scariest was Freddy. I remember watching the first one as a kid and I had nightmares. My great grandmother ended up sitting beside my bed half the night.

I'm not really into the horror genre,but I'd go with the original Frankenstein.The first time you see Karloff as the monster he really looks like some re-animated corpse!

My favorite however not all that scary is "The Frighteners" with Michael J Fox. I watch it every year around Halloween. Even now the graphics aren't half bad and it is a fun movie to watch.
