I think we are blessed to have the judicial system that we do.  However, some things do not make any sense and we will never understand them.  I am saddened by the verdict in this trial.

I agree. That statement from jaymz462 makes me wonder what THEY have gotten away with and how they live their life - probably not too honestly, eh?

I have no sympathy for Casey Anthony but I'm convinced that the justice system worked as it should.  The prosecution over-charged the case and then threw everything they could find in to the trial regardless of whether it was valid.  Just because you have the power of the state behind you, you can't get away with junk science and assumptions nor can you be so arrogant as to giggle and make faces during summation.  It was a terrible prosecution and that's the saddest part that the people who were charged with finding justice were so inept and failed so miserably.

I'm of the opinion that justice usually finds a way to prevail and it will here too.

I never really paid any attention to the whole Casey Anthony trial. I just think she seems to be guilty because she likes to party as if nothing ever happened to her daughter. She seems to continue to live life as if she never had a daughter. Maybe, she is guilty but, I can always be wrong.

It breaks my heart.  The highlight of my day is getting home and cuddling my daughter.  Casey Anthony apparently didn't know what joy, and I feel pity for her because of that.  The more I learn about the case, the more I believe that Casey killed her daughter.  Last night when I got home from work, all I wanted to do was hold my child and cry.  It is beyond me that there are people in the world who are that heartless.  If something were to happen to my child, I wouldn't care what happened to me.  This subject makes me an emotional wreck and I'm speaking in jumbled sentences, and I hope some of what I'm saying makes sense.

The burden of proof was on the State and they obviously did the better job.  The jurors were just doing their job and following the law.  Everyone knows she did it.  It's sad.  And innocent people are convicted every day.

I am pretty disturbed by the verdict..I know she had something to do with that babies murder and its sad she is getting off scott free..I live in Florida and sorry but our justice system here is really flawed so many kids end up murdered due to lack of people giving a *bleep*..Sorry but not being born in Florida I am sickened by some of the things people get away with here it makes me want to move back home!!

Jurors seem to watch too many TV shows such as CSI and if they can't see a video of it they don't believe it.  It is OJ all over again.  I hope her life becomes a total misery to her.  It will be many years before she will be able to live a normal life because too many people know what she looks like and most of them believe she murdered Caylee.  The prosecution probably shouldn't have gone for murder 1 and gone for murder 2 or manslaughter instead.

I was so shocked about the verdict. This poor child didn't get any justice. It makes me so sick because I am a mother and I love my children so much I can't believe this happened.
