Post your thoughts for Casey Anthony trial

I think justice was NOT served in the not guilty verdict, I just think that if she did not kill her daughter then she had a hand of knowledge in it.

All I can say is I am totally shocked.  It really worries me that there are 12 people who could see the facts in such a distorted way.  I think juries today think that "beyond a reasonable doubt" means that the crime has to be on video tape.  It doesn't mean that 100% guaranteed.  It is a "reasonable doubt".  

If you go to bed and there is no snow on the ground and you wake up and there is snow on the ground can you say without a doubt that it snowed overnight?  I would say yes.  But unfortunately there are some people in the world that would say, well......I supposed someone could have brought it in with trucks and spread it all around.

I am listening to them talk to an alternate juror right now and he just sounds if there was not a video tape of the murder for him to watch, he would have never been convince

I am irate and flabbergasted that she was found innocent.   She was convicted of lying to authorities and what innocent person would lie to the cops when their daughter is missing?!  All I can say is that she better change her name or the rest of her life will be a living hell.

I honestly don't really know what to think. I found it strange that she never really showed any emotion throughout most of the trial. I think her mother lied on the stand when she was saying it was her who accidentally searched for chloroform and she meant to type chlorophyll.

i am very shocked with the verdict. others have been convicted with less against them and she gets off? what is going on with the justice system.

I honestly did not waste my time following this case too closely, but I get the impression that most people thought she was guilty....perhaps the prosecution was too aggressive in pursuing the top offense instead of something lower...maybe then it would be "less reasonable doubt"....who knows....a lot of people I know who are saying it's the OJ case of this century (or whatever).....interesting...regardless, she's spent three years of her life that she can't be back sitting in a trial and almost losing her life...I'm sure she has a lot to think about and undoubtedly her life will never be the same...too bad the case probably cost taxpayer's a ton of money-at least the jury didn't take forever.....i admit, I would not want to be in their shoes though....

This is just another repeat of the OJ Simpson trial. Another miscarriage of justice. A child is dead....a child that could have found a cure for cancer, a cure for aids, or life on another planet. But because of the LOUSY justice system we have in America, that child will never have a chance at achieving those goals. Almost every other country has the "guily until proven innocent" justice system, but here in America its "innocent until proven guilty". If it were the other way around, she would be facing the death penalty, because there is no innocence in her case. I love this country, and I am proud to be an American, but our justice system is so old, from the beginnings of this country as an independent entity. I think our legal system needs to catch up with the times. People are getting wiser and wiser as how to cover up their crimes. Therefore, our legal system should get wiser and take more action to ensure that in a case like this, where physical evidence is hard to come by (because of the witts of the criminal) justice is still served. I can go on forever about this, but for the benefit of all those reading, I will end it with this one request: Say a prayer for Caylee Anthony, that she is in God's hands and with the Angels and no longer in the dangerous hands of her mother. Thank you.

yuck from the beginning! So many lies and distorted facts made it impossible for this case to be fairly tried in court. It really is the OJ case again.

Amen to this.. yesterday after not guilty on this case it was just so sad having the smile from that murder just make me sick now, she can party like hill while is daughter is crying out for JUSTICE

I think she got away with murder.  But the up side is the world has changed while she was in jail.  She wont find a job, she alienated her family and friends.  Yep, she wont have much of a life and she has no where to live.

A two year old was murdered.  Who cares???
