I know it because I have seen it happen - Its sad but true that arab men beat their wives even in this day and age.  They believe that if a woman does not listen to you the first three times you tell her do and she doesnt, the muslim husband has a right to hit her after the third warning...this is absurd...

You don't have to be a Muslim to do that. Just because someone is Muslim doesn't mean that he beats his wife. My step-dad, a so-called "Christian" used to beat my mom, broke both of her ankles, dragged my little sister all over the floor and dumped her into the snow.

Yes it is true what you said about muslims , and i agree. however there are some i know that would never hit their wife. but yeah there are wife beaters in every religion.. the thing with islam tho is that they actually say it's ok <:-(

It's a whole different culture! It works for them and this is what they believe. They're not all bad people for having authority either.

Not all wife-beaters are Muslims and not all Muslims are wife-beaters. Any sentence containing the words all and/or never is usually false.

It's that way in a lot of cultures.  Eastern cultures are more male-oriented than Western these days, but you can't stereotype an entire religion.  I'm sure there are many sweet Muslim/Arab men who love their wives.

Yes I've known a few muslim families in the past and only 1 out of the 5 I knew loved his wife. Even though he was a bit controlling he did seem loving towards her. The rest were just wife beaters

the vast majority of the households in my area are either NDN or Hispanic/Latino. So can we consider that this is representative of the over all population of the U.S.? You say you have known 5 Muslim families. That is most certainly not adequate to base an accesment concerning "most" Muslim households.

People need to educate them selves on the vast difference between "fact" verses "opinion" and represent their statements as what they truly are, rather than what they are most obviously not.

Sheeple, who are much too lazy to seek facts for themselves, may be impressed with people who throw around biased opinions and rep. them as fact, but, those of us who are more interested in truth than in following the popular trend of the day are not.
