« on: June 28, 2011, 01:08:14 pm »

just wanted to find out for & from everyone what Your thing is for the Most valued Holiday in this Summer,
what are You doing or what do you recommend to do ?

wouldn't it be nice to get a little reward
for stopping by on a 4th of July .... :notworthy:

,...well,
Greetings from Music City USA,
where we always got some awesome Fireworks,
but i might end up working anyway,
like i have been doing for my past years...

This year I am running a half marathon and then going to the race track to watch fireworks. In the past we usually just hang out as a family and BBQ.

Sitting in a lounge chair on my parent's deck, with an ice cold beer in my hands, waiting for my dad to finish grilling the burgers and hot dogs. Might take a swim in the pool, might not. Depends on how I feel. RELAXTION

I am in Austin, Texas, another music city.  Welcome to Fusion Cash.  Our fireworks have been cancelled because of the severe drought that we are experiencing in Central Texas.  The symphony has also cancelled.  I have no plans as of right now.  We are having a terrible heat wave, not just a drought.  And it is possible that I will just stay home watching television and playing on my computer.  Being outside is too unpleasant.  I may go to the Y and there is a possibility that i will be working.  Whatever I do, I will have fun and enjoy myself.  But I wish that it would rain and I wish it was cooler.

I'll be spending it with my family.  We'll probably cook out and then watch fireworks together.

Ahh... Fourth of July... For awhile, I didn't really celebrate it, because I was traumatized from losing my son in the park one year on this day... it was just one hour before sun down, had asked a friend to watch over him while I cleaned up before the fire works... 1 hour later, I go to my friend... I look around... and I didn't see my son... hmmm? I ask my friend where he was at? She didn't know... omg! I went frantic and looked at my husband as my heart sank... he thought I was having a heart attack! Mind as well have... I started running everywhere, calling out his name, asking everyone.... no one... soon, someone came and found me and told me that a police officer found him!

I didn't cry... at least not in front of him... I cried at home.... he was 3 at the time...

now he's 10, turning 11... I don't go to the parks anymore... my family and I bar-b-que all day at home: RIBS, CORN, Fruits, clams/ muscles/ crabs... the works! Then, around 7, we drive to a nearby Firework sight and park the car.... ha, ha, ha... we watch the show inside the car...

It's safe and I know my little one (who's 10 now) is belted in and I have nothing to worry about....

WINKS!    ;)

I'm not exactly sure what we are doing for the 4th of July this year. Probably going to go see some fireworks.
