I had that done.  It was many years before I could get a doctor to finally diagnose what my problem was.  By the time it was diagnosed, I discovered I had a fibroid tumor larger than a baseball. Not to get too personal...  but throughout the years before it was diagnosed, I was bleeding so heavily that I should have been in the hospital for a blood transfusion several times.  Blood pressure was down around 54/36.  I did not go to the hospital, but I pulled through it all.  Only once did I keep passing out from it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that because of the tumor, I did have the hysterectomy, and I had no more of those problems since.  I healed very well.

You're asking me did it hurt?  Before the surgery, I was having a little abdominal pain, not bad.  Then the day after surgery, I was hurting, very uncomfortable, but I forced myself to do some walking.  Walking was slow and painfully difficult.  Next day, I felt pretty good and was walking almost normal, and a male nurse told me, " You look so much better today.  Yesterday, you looked like death rolled over."   Hehehehaha

My surgery went well, and my healing went well.  However, that was 12 years ago, and I'm sure it would be a little harder for me now at this age.  I'm your age.  But I do hope it will all go as well for you as it did for me.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make you nervous.  But the important thing is to walk a lot, as you will heal better.  Yes I do have facebook, but I don't have much on it, I don't go on it much, and I don't even remember my ID or how to get there.

Yeah, medical technology is advancing fast these days.  I'm sure the surgery itself is less complicated.  If you have my real name, would that help you to look me up?  It is Merrian Cosby.

I've never seen anyone with my spelling of that name.  I have blond hair, shoulder length in the picture.  Wearing blue T-shirt.
