Jesus came to heal the broken hearted.  He has certainly healed mine from many years of abuse.  And through it, He has changed many attitudes which would have kept me in bondage and pain.  Jesus heals.    :angel11:

My favorite song that deals with broken heart syndrome is "Unanswered Prayers" by Garth Brooks.  He prayed that God would make this certain woman his wife all these years ago, but it fell through and he was devastated.  Years later he looks at the woman who did become his wife and he thanks God for not answering his prayers so many years ago.  I think many/most people unfortunately go through this scenario one or possibly 2 times(hope not), before finding the one they are looking for.  I'm not sure what your broken heart is from, but hope you find solace in the other posters good advice, time heals all wounds.  Keep on living and trucking on, the busier you are the better you'll be.

WELCOME Adam and well said

When your heart is broken you feel like crap. It's a hard road ahead but, you can make it! At first it's the woe is me stage when you just feel sorry for yourself and generally awful. That can last a while, make sure you bathe or it lasts longer. Then console yourself with food items, remember there's a five pound limit on that. After a couple gallons of ice cream and a slightly pot belly. You will need to go to the gym. There you can begin prospective searches for a new relationship. Forget the old one it's lost and if you think hard it probably wasn't for you anyway. Good Luck! It's a jungle out there! :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

There really is no way to "deal" with a broken heart... you just have to make it day by day and put one foot in front of the other... There is no easy way out of it, nor is there an easy way to cover it up. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other... you will be ok, that I promise!

I have been broken hearted twice by two girls that i wanted to date, but they were not interested and after a while i wandered why i allowed myself to feel so sad about it,because i got over them!Time does heal, but in the meantime I would say that you should not isolate yourself and be alone so much and try to go place's and have fun!
