So...who thinks it should be like the NFL, where your record/standing determines your draft pick??

I agree with you but I think the problem is that there are so many more games in the NBA so I team could start "losing on purpose" with 10-15 games to go. The good thing about the NFL is that the season is so short that almost every game is meaningful.

I agree that the season is too long to do the draft like the NFL. It would just cause problems in the league. And let's face it, it is already not really fun to watch that type of "basketball" as it is.
