No Response From Paid To Click
« on: June 17, 2011, 03:33:08 pm »
Hello everyone!  I'm new to FC and am having trouble with the Paid To Click feature.  When I click on a topic like Horoscope the page will read Horoscope at the top but there is just a blank space underneath.  No matter what subject I go to it is the same.  Does this have something to do with cookies?  If it does, do you have to allow cookies every time you login?  I turned them off to visit another site some time ago and just need to know if the process has to be repeated.  Any help that you can give me will really be appreciated.  Thank you  ??? :icon_rr:

I had this problem originally when I was using any earlier version of my Norton Security programs and I had toolbars.
With NIS 2011, I can have my pop-up blocker on and I still get the Timbu ads okay.  During off the pop-up blocker in IE was not enough, but may be necessary for this offer on your machine.

Don't have any problems with my McAfee security programs -- 2010 version.

If you have an older version or a different security program, try turning off the pop-up blocker within the security program as well-- and if that doesn't work or if it's not available, try turning off the security program for a few minutes to see if it makes a difference. (would not recommend turning it off for an extended time).  Also check to see whether the security program has an ad blocker (earlier versions did; but newer version did away with it.)

Sometime toolbars will have pop-up blockers in them (google tb did and the My Points tb did).  I deleted all of my toolbars to avoid the problem and open up space at the top of my webpage.

You do not need to have the details of the 4 topics to show to get credit, but you do need to have the sponser's ad to link to proceed.  If they don't show up (they didn't when I had this problem), you need to find out what is blocking them and turn them on.
