i totally agree with the cold cuts! I really don't like cooking on a hot day, so I usually stock up on cold stuff, like potato salad and or deviled eggs, veggies, fruits, and cold pasta.

I microwave either soup or store-brand Spaghetti Os.  Actually, I do that quite a bit.  Hmm.

Now that it's getting hot outside we usually go for cold cuts and sandwiches.  We only eat out when we have some extra cash or if we're (or should I say I'm) feeling extremely lazy and what something hot without heating up the house.

Well, today's lunch qualifies.  I'm noshing on some chips and homemade salsa (from two days ago). ;)

Sometimes I just raid whatever's available like peanut butter on bread or an apple, jerky, fruit, quick salad, etc. :dontknow:

When I don't feel like cooking I usually nuke a tv dinner. My preference is Marie Calandar's honey chicken with seet potatoes.

I look in the freezer, grab a meat and throw some things together. Usually it turns out pretty good. Any meat, add some onions and peppers. I had some chicken strips in the freezer. I didn't know what to do. I fried them up added some onions, peppers, and soy. Cooked some noodles. Added some terriyaki to the chic. Tossed it all together. It turned out pretty good.

If its a very hot day and I dont feel like cooking I usually will give my children some money to go get them something quick to eat that day when I have a couple of dollars thats why I am trying to earn money from here to give them a couple of dollars.

When I don't want to cook, it's my roommate's turn. Cold cuts are really unhealthy, so I wouldn't cut corners on my family's health just because I'm tired or whatever.
