Do u guys still have landlines?

I still have a landline and I don't forsee getting rid of it any time soon. I think it's important to have because things happen to cell phones all the time and I have bad luck with chargers so it's best to have a phone that doesn't rely on a battery just in case of an emergency!

We have a landline at my moms house, but I never answer or use it because I have my cell phone.

use landlines mainly still old fashioned I guess don't even own a cell phone.

I have a vonage landline in our home to do international calling and i use cell phones for local calling here in us

I haven't had one since college and that's because my roommate refused to get a cell phone.

We do have a landline. We use the landline as a back up to the cell phone.

I still have a landline but, then I am old fashion. I believe having a Home Phone!!I have had problems in the past with reception because I live in a rural area. I seem to have the security blanket of having a home phone if the cell service starts to act up.

We still have a land line.  The primary use is for an in-law currently serving time in jail.  The in-law has to have the ability to make a collect call to my spouse. Occasionally I run across a corporation that needs a facsimile and I hook my laptop up to the land line but I could always hook up to e-fax and have considerably less time and money spent. Everyone in my family has their own cellular phone so the land line is used sporadically, at best.  Typically the calls coming in are sales calls.  I never answer our landline.
