I used to love it, but been burned too many times to like it much anymore. Too many dishonest people on it duping the public. There's no way you can see from a picture what you are actually going to get. People I know have bought medication and gotten a sealed package of medicine just like the store, but inside is a generic brand that has been switched with the original. Scammers are sneaky.

Buying online is taking a chance unless your buying from a reputable dealer with brand name merchandise. I will never buy anything electronic off of Ebay. You are really taking a chance. It's to, as the bad sellers ruin it for the good ones. Ebay is not the powerful online discount auction that it was 5 years ago. They have lost a lot of the buying public because of all the unscrupulous sellers, and problems getting compensated for returns, etc.

I always look on ebay before I look at a major store online. Only buy from people who have 99.8+% positive feedback and have made over 100 trades, those are the only sellers I trust with big ticket items. If its just dollar merch then Ill buy from people with no rep b/c its only a dollar and they're prolly just trying to build their rep like everyone else on that site

I don't feel comfortable enough to purchase something on there.  At the same time I'd love to be able to legitimately sell stuff on there.  Like, new stuff directly shipped from the warehouse.  i know people do it, I just wonder if I could try it and not lose my a$$.

I have sold and bought on ebay for years. It is not what it used to be. They are just horrible to sellers, but no one else even comes close with being able to move merchandise. I keep hoping another company will come up with something better than ebay.  :dontknow:

I have been on Ebay as a buyer and seller for many years. If you buy through Paypal you have $ protection. I really enjoy it. :)

I use ebay and love it.  My step daughter wanted a pandora bracelet.  I dont make that kind of money.  I got 2 bracelets by bidding on them and paid under $5.  Then I bid on the beads she likes and got them for $0.99 cents each.  She has a pandora bracelet and it was a fraction of the cost.  We are both happy.

i use ebay and yes i like ebay but i dont like the fees. im trying to make money not spend it. i guess they have to make their money too. i'd rather have a garage sale but that, too, is alot of work but it is worth it in the end.

I do not use Ebay. I tried selling a few things in the past but no luck. I kind of like Amazon.com

I like eBay and have bought there for years and sold a little bit.  I've never been cheated by anyone on eBay and most of the sellers I've dealt with are fast & I get what they say I would.  I guess it depends on what you're buying.

I used to love eBay, but not so much anymore.  The fees make it impossible to make money.
