Well I also agree with the statement where if you say no and they try to bug you about it to change your mind and make you feel guilty --- I HATE THAT.  Like along with making myself happy, I am also trying to be more honest.  The even that comes to mind is this weekend my Uncle wanted me to come over for a joined birthday bash and I finally decided to stand up and say I didn't want to go unless my fiance was welcome (they don't like him, even though they have NEVER met him before - they go by what my mom told them).  So I've never said anything in the past, and I would just go and leave my fiance behind.  How would I like it if he did that to me?  I decided to be honest and stand up for him and ended up not going because my aunt wouldn't budge.  They called me several times during the party basically begging me to go.  I felt bad, but then again it's like, you know what, if you wanted me there that bad you should allow my fiance to go.  Our 5 year anniversary is coming up, we have 2 kids together - as far as I'm concerned we ARE married and he's part of my family, and if he's not welcome, neither am I.  I hate when I say no and people beg, it's so disrespectful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never tried to  please others, because for the most part it always bites you in the  .  You have to please yourself first and then try to get along with others.  I have never cared what people thought of me, because they don't matter in my life, but I am always nice to people.

Yeah, I don't care what other people think of me either.  The other day, it was a hot day but seeing as it's a crime to walk around naked outside (lol) I had my tank top and short shorts on.  These girls drove by my house (I live on a busy street) and I THOUGHT I heard them talking about me at the stop sign, and when they drove by the yelled "Trim those bushes b**ch" -- first of all I wasn't trimming bushes lol I was hooking up the new gardening hose I bought (we just got a house).  Who cares what I'm wearing - none of your business, if you don't like it don't look --- I'm not saying I always dress like that but it's funny how people talk about how what you wear is so "slutty" but if I were wearing a bathing suit in the same situation they wouldn't have thought twice.  (and a bathing suit would show even more than what I was wearing...)  I don't get it...anyways I didn't even look their way I just kept doing what I was doing.  I'm SUPER nice, they don't even know me, how could they call me the b word haha

You just have to find a balance. sorta like my work. for 31 hours a week I have to give the  best customer service and smile at everyone and do what these people ask of me. When Im not working i dont go outta my way for these people. i dont care if im in there way i wont move and i dont smile at everyone i see. I know it sounds mean but theres gotta be a break from it all
