Personal Information - N/A?

I've been clicking on various members' usernames and noticed that about 50% of you out there have not provided us with your basic profile information: Age, Gender, and Location.

Is this an oversight on your part or do you not know that you can fix this by going into your personal profile and providing it. I'm sure some of you wish to remain anonymous for whatever reason and that's fine, but I wonder if some of you are even aware of this, especially you newbies?

I would be most interested in feedback. For myself, I am completely transparent. I am male, 64 yrs old and reside in Carol Stream, IL. I would like to get to know the rest of you better, but I don't want to be intrusive if it's a privacy issue. Please enlighten me! Thanks, everyone!

I knew that providing some info was available, but just never got around to filling it out.  Took advantage of your post to add a few items -- particularly my avatar.  Cute little koala -- have visited Austraila a couple of time -- and like the memories of it.

Understood. I have no problem with that myself because I figure if a hacker can use my birth date to hack me, we're all in trouble! Think about it. How many other people were born on the same day as you? How can anyone steal your identity from your birth date alone? I was born on 4/09/47. There. Now everybody knows. I guess I'm just a risk-taker these days.

Please do not take offense. That's just my warped sense of humor shining through. I can also understand that women often do not like to reveal their age.

I don't want people knowing my business so I will not be giving out such information.  There is already enough identity theft out there and too much personal information floating around so I choose not to.  I am a private person especially on message boards you never know who is out there digging up stuff.

Duly noted. I personally have had no issues whatsoever after posting my Gender, Age and Location strictly for FusionCash members in the Forum here. I trust this site 100% and I have found the members here to be very kind and friendly for the most part. However, I am extremely careful about giving out my personal banking information or any other personal information for that matter. I've been burned before by dishonest sites which did not want to honor their own policies and I'm not going to get burned again. These days I always check out each new PTC site I with the Better Business Bureau to see their rating for the site before I decide whether I want to join.

In fact, I had to threaten one site by telling them I would contact the Attorney General's office if they refused to refund my money after I found out it was a scam. I had no trouble with them after that and received a full refund within 30 days. They had been hedging about honoring their own 30-day money-back guarantee. That's false advertising.
