I have been doing this. To tell you the truth all the people that you are seeing are in other states. Yes I have saved some money on shopping but not like the ones that you see buy $1400 worth of grocery and walk out of the store only paying $4.10.

I watched it once...Some of those people are just ridiculous. No one needs that much danggone food! I like that some of the extreme couponers give away food to shelters and churches, but the others just make it out of a stupid game.

I think the show is a little far fetched.  Let's face us...none of us are going to get 1000's of dollars worth of groceries every week (like some of those people on the show), but it is nice to cut down on your food bill.  I do couponing (I wouldn't call it extreme by any means) and I do get a lot of things for free and have been able to cut my food bill down by half.  So it's worth the extra effort for me to be able to save a few dollars!

I did find one store in our area that doubles coupons up to a Dollar, I sure was surprised at that.

I have not seen the show but I have heard alot about it not all that I have heard is good some of it not so good.  But I will tell you from experiences.  I use coupons but I don't save that much.  I have taken my food and other things down from 200 a week to 75 a week.  I know that is good but I wish that I could do better but I am happy to start from there.

I don't think any of them buy 1000s worth every single week...they usually stock up on stuff then go buy more in bulk when another good deal comes around

I started using coupons a few months ago and have never been able to save that much.  But I have saved enough to says it helps at the check out.  I got 10 bottles free one time and that was really exciting.  don't run up on many deals like that.  Wish I could.

I have seen the show I think some of the people go a little to far. The have huge stock piles of items 210 boxes of pasta. Does even a family of 10 need that much pasta?
I was on the news that charges are being brought agaist extreme couponing  .com for proving so many coupons at a low price.
Many stores are beginning to limited the amount of the same coupons you can use at one time. I don't blame at all  for that. Their inventories are being wiped out and many times they aren't reimbursed for the coupons! :peace:
