How Much was Gas when you started Driving?

Ages me too, as I remember 25 cents per gallon.

I don't remember what it was per gallon but, my folks had a big Buick and my Mother always went in and had them put $3 worth in the tank.  It lasted a long time before another fill up.

Not real sure, but I think it was .25 or .30 for me, too. Too long ago to remember. 1968 or 1969.

I wish I thought i could remember that one! I know gas was a whole lot cheapr in 1992 than it is now...Blahh it is like 3.85 in the DMV!

Gas was about forty cents a gallon when I started driving.  And I rember  my Dad complaing when gas went from .17 to .19 and full service vs self service.

I can't remember exactly, but I sure do remember when the cost of gas skyrocketed in the early 2000s. It's never been a reasonable price since then sadly.

I think it was over $1, all I remember was 20 filled up 14 gallon tank.

.99 cents.  I remember it being as low as .89 and .79 in the south when we used to drive every summer to NC.  Gas is usually cheaper in the south.
