Anybody worried re personal info

all these surveys request personal info (i know ... welll DUH) ... but i worry sometimes.  does anyone else worry about it?

It's understandable to worry, especially when you hear stories in the media.  That said, your best recourse is to do your due diligence before completing any offer.  Read over the privacy policies and terms of service for the offer and company.  Check to see the BBB rating of the company, and what (if any) complaints have been filed with them.  Check here in the forum to see what other members are saying about a specific offer,  And, remember, Google is your friend in doing your investigating.

I worry but about then again I am not giving anything that isn't in the phone book or a part or public records.

I like FC, because there are so many opportunity that don't require a cc or cell phone number.

yes i am worried to they do ask for personal and important information, are we in danger of anything

Lifelock is a company that protects you from identity theft. They monitor activity on your cards, SSN, etc. They keep tabs on known identity theft websites to make sure that your info doesn't show up there. You can check out their website for more information. I think they are the best in their field, and it's well worth the yearly money if you do a lot of internet transactions.
