   I know what you mean: Too much trash...The problem is where to put it!!! Dear Jorhea: You live in the country- 33 acres! That is pretty good! I lived in the country too! And this is how we solved this problem: Place only in the trash bag what you cannot burn in your acreage. Create a ring of fire...yes... that is an area where you can burn newspapers, wrappings, cardboard boxes and easy to incinerate items. Your aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic bags and even newspapers can be transfer at your local recycling centers or even Target Stores where they recycled items so we can live in a greener world. I also reduce waste at home "by not taking to much trash home". When I go shopping locally, I remove all plastics and wrappings and place them in the store trash cans where they have good housekeeping and janitorial services...so I do not have to haul them back and forth. In other words: "I save in shipping and handling". I hope these statements help you understand and alleviate the garbage crisis".

I don't think that is abnormal. It is just me and my wife and we go through a bag about every other day. Now if you were taking out two bags a day. Now if you were taking out one bag twice a day, I think that would be a little excessive.

I have to take out trash everyday, I have a family of 4. Sometimes I have to take it out more than once.

I have a family of 7. We take out a bag of trash a day depending on what we're doing. If we are spring cleaning, we can take out more than that. The problem in our house is how many times I do laundry.

Getting a bigger garbage can and bags may make you feel like you have less trash. Also pay attention to what you are throwing away and see if any can be recycled or if it's really worth throwing out. Is it wasted food cuz you forgot about leftovers? Things like that and see if that helps at all.

We usually have a 13 gallon bag a week. Sometimes 2. We have a family of 4, all adults (kids are in college, living at home). Recycling bin we have the bigger problem with. It is usually over flowing by pick up day.

We are a family of 5, we recycle what we can, and we still have about a bag or 2 a day.  They are not always full, but I take them out anyway at the end of the day.

Well the 13 gallon bags are heavy enough by the time they are full --- I noticed today how much mail I throw away, though.  Junk

We are paying for 2 -30 gal bags a week to go to the garbage but generally only have one. When I first started the service I didn't think it would be enough so I've been surprised. We also recycle as much as possible.
 I find the biggest share of our garbage is packaging.

There is only 3 people in my house hold, and for some strange reason.. we accumulate WAY  tooo much trash! It is crazy.
