Are You Afraid of Spiders?

Are you or somebody that you know is afraid of spiders?

I didn't use to be until I was bit by a brown recluse !

I'm afraid of many bugs (especially cockroaches) but not spiders. And luckily there is no cockroach here in Colorado but there is lots of spiders.

Deathly afraid... I'm not afraid of them biting me or anything I just think about them and it makes me wanna throw up.

I am not afraid of spiders, and I do not want them around me.   If you leave them alone they will leave you alone.
We do need to live with the spiders, because without them we would have a little more insects to deal with.

YES!! OMG!! i hate ALL bugs!! Lady bugs worms ants anything like that ewwww just the thought of them crawling on me makes me itch!!

I do not like spiders at all. They give me the creeps. I do not like insects of any kind. I lived in a place that was full of spiders and it was a nightmare.

Nah. I once caught a spider I had never seen before in my house. It had blue/green fluorescent eyes. Found out after an internet search it is the number 1 biting spider in the US. Very aggressive jumping spider. I released it outside. In retrospect I'm surprised I was able to catch it so easily since it can jump several feet. Spiders eat other bugs we don't need. I rarely kill them.

Ugh. Not trying to be mean, but spiders are gross and weird.
And they are also really hairy
But I also heard from my friend that if you kill a spider it will rain.
Which was weird cause she killed one like the day before it rained. haha.
But yes, I am defiantly scared of them.

I don't mind spiders so much, just so long as they're NOT either black widows or brown recluses. I can't afford to get bitten by one of those suckers 'cause I don't have any medical insurance. However, I would someday like to have a couple of tarantulas as pets - they're so cute!

Yes, spiders freak me out. plus I am allergic to them. One of my friends wanted me to watch a movie once they forgot to tell me it was the movie called "Arachnophobia" which means fear of spiders and there would be tons of spiders in the movie. I almost jumped out of my skin everytime i saw a spider.

Only poisonous ones. I control my fear by taking sensible precautions & killing any velvet-black spider I see with a red hourglass on its tummy!!!!

no not at all except for the brown recluse they are very dangerous if you get bit i was bit by one years ago it took 3 months for the posion to get out of my system
