Anybody getting credit for doing Special offers category recommendation offers.I tried it like 2 days ago its not crediting.Has anybody tried today

no I haven't tried. The only thing I sometimes have luck with in special offers is the videos.
Actually the last 2 videos I didn't even receive credit for.

Hey radhika28,

I just finished a task in Special Offers and did not get credited again! The Offer Status window shows the offer has been completed by me with the time stamp. I will send in a support ticket about this and see what happens. This lack of crediting on Daily Tasks under Special Offers is unusual and has been going on for a few days now! It's pretty frustrating. Anyone else still having similar problems?

The only two things I have tried and got credit for are videos and some of the daily task that link you to Crowdflower.

I usually don't have any luck with some Special Offers, my luck is with the daily Offers, most of them work and have given me credit.  The videos work 90% of the times for me.

Does anybody understand the paid tasks? I have tried paid tasks on a couple of different community sites and don't understand any of it!

Right now the paid tasks, AKA Daily Tasks, are failing to credit properly so I would check the topics in the Forum about videos not crediting and daily tasks not crediting before attempting any of these. I believe there has been an ongoing problem for the last five days or so that FC is working on fixing.

For instance, I have completed three daily tasks since Friday, 5/06/11, that have simply not credited. I've filed a Support Ticket and am waiting for a response from FC. When the videos start crediting again, my guess is the daily tasks will too. for now, I would hold off working on any of the jobs. If you spend 30 to 45 minutes on a Daily Task and finish it successfully, you want to be credited for your time!

However, to answer your question, I've had the most early success on the daily tasks involving categorizing products for $.16 to $.20 a job. Be patient and use searches and keywords to narrow it down before your select a category. If you practice, you'll soon get the hang of it. Many of these jobs require 80% or higher accuracy or you are done, so don't rush. But some of the items are repeated or very similar, and once you've seen it before, you can lock in on the specific category pretty quickly using a keyword in the search box. Most of these jobs have 5 or 10 pages to complete correctly before they credit, so early on it will seem like a time-consuming task that's not worth your time, but like anything else you'll get faster and more accurate the more you practice and they are DAILY tasks that you can do each day for $$.

Check some of the threads in the Forum here. I saw one post where a member had been credited for six daily tasks in one day! Check the topic "Offers you have completed today" and you'll see what I mean. You can make some real pocket change toward your next cash-out if you're willing to put in the time and the effort. Plus, you're learning valuable computer skills as a bonus. Good luck to you on FC!

I love doing the daily Special offers. Especially the Search Result ones which pay you $1.10 and it credits instantly. Those usually take me 15mins and I can make a decent about doing a couple of those.
But something is wrong with FC, it hasn't been crediting.

Gambit (the special offers provider) has been under a DDOS attack for some time now, and it's making crediting and accessing offers unreliable.

We are working with them to get the credits posted properly to your account.  As for the panel's inaccuracies, I am working on it now.  I do apologize for the inconvenience.  Any completed offers should eventually post to your FC account - as long as they are showing up in the "Completed" section of "special offers".  It just may take some time.

Just watched the Evan Longoria bare handed catch video and no credit yet. It comes up again when I click next video so it appears to not be working correctly yet. The values on the offer status page are now showing up correctly so they must at least be working on it.

You're welcome! Videos are now crediting properly. They're found under the Special Offers tab right after Daily Tasks, but they only allow a limited number of viewings before they disappear. Your best best is to try catching them early in the day. Be sure to try all of the daily surveys under offers each day if you can. It's worth your time if you qualify and they approve for you. I have the wrong demographics to qualify for most of these, but every once in a while I get lucky.

Check under Contests and Promotions on the Discussion Boards in the Forum here, then look for the topic "Ongoing Promotions" to find the weekly contests run by Kohler on Tues/Wed and Sat/Sun. When you find those threads, click on page 1 to see if a contest is open and to read the general rules for contests. Only a limited number of participants are allowed before each contest is closed, so check back often on Tuesday and Saturday. They sometimes won't come up until late in the day. That's a fun and easy way to make a few more pennies toward your cash-outs!

Also under Offers, click on the New option every few days. New sponsors do sign up with FC all the time, so you want to check these out to see if any of them might interest you. Lastly, be sure to post in the forum regularly to get your $3/mo posting bonus and do your best to get referrals! Good luck and have fun with FC!
