Mountain biking is great.  Variables are in your way, not too bad on the joints and you typically can travel for many miles.  Bring water and a light snack!

I was a triathalete until I moved to Colorado eighteen years ago so all I knew about biking was focused on my road bike.  My eyes were completely opened upon moving to Colorado withmy first ride on a mountain bike!  No worries about tiny bumps that could ruin $150.00 rims and send me flailing into oblivion.  I could/can ride my mountain bike, seemingly, anywhere.  The trails around Colorado are awesome.

HAVE YOU EVER TRIED MOUNTAIN BIKING?

Well since it has been years since I rode a bike of any kind I will have to stick to walking at least until I reach my 20 lb goal weight loss then maybe riding around the complex would be a good start That would be challenging enough there are some very well laid out bike paths in different condo complexes that are easy to get to and even easier to navigate all nice flat paths but they go through nicely kept grounds It would be a start.

Yes, I do it off and on. I have some amazing trails near my house which I ride with my dad or gym friends. I have to thank my dad, since he's the one that got me into the sport in the first place. I never knew what I was missing!

Haven't tried mountain biking, but we love to go bike riding with our 2 granddaughters who are 6 and 9.We can't really ride around in our neighborhood,so we go to the civic center nearby and use the trails there.

I do like mountain bike exercises. It was great way to tone up and to have a group of people around you with the same hobby. I regard this exercise as social event which bring me peace and joy!

Love to mountain bike. Regular biking is fun but I get a little nervous about cars even if there is a bike lane. Off road you just have to be careful that you don't try to ride on terrain that is too difficult.

I'm afraid of biking in general - grew up on a gravel hilly road and had several bad accidents as a kid - so I don't bike at all now even though it would be easier to get to the library.
