If you are Gods Servant, then you already know where to find hope and optimism.  I agree, times are tough for many people right now and it sure is easy to get angry and frustrated looking at the crazy way the world is today.  However, I recently listened to the old Temptations tune "Ball of Confusion" on my iPod.  (I love The Temptations)  It was written almost 40 years ago, yet most of the lyrics could have been written today.

Well I am not too happy with a lot of the decisions made either, but I cannot blame it solely on this President, he came into office with a big deficit and has tried to fix it, but he does not have a magic wand that fixes everything like that.  As for the military $$, well I work on a private industry and I am not better than you, my husband is a supervisor at his company and he makes less money than all that people he supervises, because his bosses are that dumb, as for health insurance don't even get me started, my company offers insurance where I will have to pay $480 per paycheck (every 2 weeks) to get it, no deductibles.  My husband's insurance he only pays $150 per paycheck for a family of 4, but I have $1000 per family deductible, plus I have to cover a COINSURANCE, because Aetna says that I should have a 2nd insurance, and they only pay 80% of anything we have done.  My youngest daughter was taken to the ER 2 wekks ago and I have to pay out of my pocket $950 to the Hospital while my insurance pays $500.

We are all suffering because of the stupidity of the past presidents that only like to help the richer people so do not complain about this president when the entire governement is a sham.

Well, you should be happy to know that military was not cut.  Congress avoided a shutdown, and approved a budget that gives all military a 1.4% increase in base pay.

If you want to see something really disappointing, wrap your head around what the US spends on the military vs. the rest of the world. I don't want soldiers to take pay cuts, but I do wish there was less military!

I have to say that I don't agree with alot of what he has to say but on the other hand I don't think that it is all his fault.  I think the it goes back to the whole system getting to the point that we were spending more than we were taking in.  I believe it is all the governments fault and not just one person

I am not happy about the way things are being handled because of politics, but the blame is not President Obamas.  The blame should be placed on the millionaire politicians who do not care about the little people just about their power and egos.  So stop trying to place the blame on the President.  All of this mess started before Bush left office, yet everyone does not want to blame him.  What hypocrites.

The thing i fear most is that he might be re-elected.  I think alot of the people that voted for him the first time are ignorant enough to do it again.

As long as you have a private banking cartel aka the Federal Reserve (as federal as Fedex) then it really doesn't matter who is president. The Fed Chairman really controls the money supply and without the money supply, the gov't can't do anything. It's amazing how the media goes on and on about the Obama budget, the Paul Ryan plan/budget, but the Fed can print up however much it wants, when it wants. That's the main reason why prices are going up, it takes more dollars to buy things since the value of the dollar is decreasing thanks to the Fed's printing press. I think it's short-sighted to just blame Obama for all of this mess. He's certainly not helping things, but him and like most politicians are just playing their role and being the front man for the real powers that be.

Anyone who can tout Bush as an amazing president and then, after the events of this evening, still claim that Obama isn't, is blind.

Obama did in nine months what Bush claimed to be doing for seven years.

I think Obama just secured a second term tonight, and rightfully so.  I am proud to have voted for the man, and I will proudly do it again.

I haven't been a fan of our President.  However, he did earn some brownie points last night in my book!  I just pray it wasn't a political stunt....
Have a wonderful day!
