Coupons
« on: April 26, 2011, 08:15:26 am »
Hello, does anybody know any good websites to download coupons for groceries and other cosmetics? I am looking for websites where you don't have to pay to get the coupons and it isn't a pain to sign up. I started watching this show on TLC, Extreme Couponing and it has got me wanting to save money!

Anybody Else?

I like CouponMom. The coupons are updated often and you can print many times till it won't let you. A good free site. They'll email you when new coupons are available.

i have looked at coupon mom, its nice I notice that a lot of coupons aren't on that site though. I search all around and can't find all that great of offers. Do you watch Extreme Couponing? I saw they have a thread for it but haven't had a chance to read it. I am trying to complete surveys. :)

There are actually a few GPT sites out there that will actually pay you each time you clip and use a coupon. I was watching that show, too, and was wondering if any of those people use sites like that. I haven't really used those coupons, so I'm not sure how they work -- whether they'd expire quickly, have non-doubling or other specific rules that limit the amount you'd be able to save. Along with those coupons, the GPT sites sometimes also offer you a kick-back if you spend money at some store using their referral link. I've heard of some people getting some money from a GPT site for purchasing Walmart gift cards, and then clipping coupons from that site and using the gift cards to go grocery shopping at a Super Walmart store near their home.

Now I know that isn't a true Extreme Coupon tactic (as in, it isn't going to save you +90% on your grocery bills alone) but it will save you some money. And like I tell others interested in making money on-line, small drips in income make eventually make a revenue stream; likewise, using some of these coupons along with other tactics may eventually make you an extreme couponer.

You may want to check out MyPoints, InboxDollars, and SendEarnings, all of which are GPT sites similar to FC that have coupon offers that you can earn a little money back from using them (although I've gone to these sites myself, I tend to earn a lot more from the offers on FC than I do on those other sites. But they also have paid e-mails, so eventually you can earn enough to cash-out). You may also consider looking at Groupon; they tend to have coupons for +50% off on different services and restaurants. Although there may not be many other coupons you'd be able to use with the Groupon coupon, if it is a place that you frequent a lot, you'll be able to save a ton of money. I recently bought a $20 Groupon for $10 at Barnes and Nobels, and since I always go to B&N to buy my books, this was a great deal for me. I've also seen GPT sites offer you money to sign up from Groupon under them and use a Groupon!

Yea I have a groupon account. My brother actually purchased somethings off groupon but i haven't I am picky with somethings I purchase. I am not really liking having to give CC info on websites to fill out applications for things. I just never know. I have been in the military and I really appreciate how some of the people on extreme couponing donate to the men and women overseas. I would like to do that as well if I can find some great coupons like them.

When I was younger my mom was a coupon expert.  She would clip away from the Sunday newspapers and magazines.  She would also look at the stores on boards that were posted for more coupons and rebate offers.  She would then come home and clip off upcs and keep receipts.  She would send those in and get checks in the mail each week.  She doesn't do this any more but would love to be able to save and get checks each week.  Anything more on this topic would be awesome!

Yea I have a friend that does rebates but she will not tell me how she does it. I guess she knows someone in a store that has receipts and gives it to them. I just want to get some rebates coming in and save money on groceries. I know some people that save hundreds each time they goto the grocery store. I want to be like that.

When I was working at Wal Mart there were a couple of people that would come in with all the weeks advertising sheets and a notebook.  They would price match everything they could and then use coupons on top of that as well.  I thought I was going to do that but time is what keeps me from doing so.  Although saving money is a plus right now no matter how you look at it.

I grow impatient while in stores because I injured my back and I don't like being in one place for too long. I should get one of the electric carts to ride around the store in. I think I would get some looks being a 24yr old in a cart when I can walk just fine just don't want to walk for a long period of time due to injury.

Coupon.com is an awesome site.

I also use http://www.homesolutionsnews.us/offers.shtml

http://thekrazycouponlady.com/print-coupons/

there are a ton of different sites you can go to. I never pay full price for an item.
