I don't like reality shows and that's a major part of American television. My husband watches them, so I can hear them playing in the background.  That's enough for me.

I watch the amazing race and survivor sometimes. Besides that i hate them. Especially those teeny reality shows.

I will watch Jerry Springer before watching a reality show.  He is more entertaining.

If  I had a choice  of watching  a reality show or paint dry.  I will watch the paint dry.  Reality shows are a bunch of

I really like weight loss shows. I watch them a lot, I think they are inspiring.

Yea, it depends on what they are. I like the ones that are entertaining even if they happen to not be real. And I also like the inspiring ones too; I just watch some of them for fun.

I've been tired of reality shows for several years now.  I don't mind the competition based ones, although I've stopped watching most of those.  My favorite was the Amazing Race simply because the competition was straight forward and I loved seeing all the places they got to go.  I still like the dancing shows - as I used to compete myself - but not much more beyond that.

I think part of the problem is most of the popular ones started off great - where you actually learned something or was nice and balanced.  Then as the shows continued, some producer decided they had to become "more shocking" each week, and added stuff that just didn't belong and/or edited the heck out of the show - so whatever was interesting before got cut for "drama" clips.  When that stated happening, the shows all went downhill fast.

It's not actually "reality" tv. It's so scripted and over dramatized. Technically it's a false representation.

I am starting to hate truning on the TV. If I want to watch a reality show I can watch it in my own life. I think they are
