Eligible posts

If I follow the thread $3/mo posting bonus, then I am shown a screen where I can see the number of eligible posts I have so far for the current month. My question is: are all of my posts since I last applied for the $3/mo Posting Bonus listed here or are some of my posts not considered contributory and do not count toward my 30? Right now, I see that I have 35 eligible posts so far this month and assume that these are the first 35 posts in the list of my past posts as I scroll down. Is this correct, Administrator?

I am not Admin, but you are correct in your thinking.

The only posts that will be eliminated from the list of eligible posts are those posted to the Promotion and Contest section.  The posts that are eligible for the posting bonus for a given calendar month are those made in that calendar month.  You will see posts from prior months, but they are only eligible for those months.

In addition, these posts are "eligible", but will still be reveiwed by FC to make sure they meet the standard (worthwhile, contributory etc).  I usually have lots more than the minimum 30 before I request the bonus.  Not because I'm concerned that they don't meet the standard, but because I have become somewhat addicted to posting info to those who ask.

I think most posts are considered eligible, as long as you don't just write a word or two or put a smiley. Anything that keeps the conversation going is good. I've always been credited for posting, and I've been doing it as long as it's been offered, which I think is over 2 years now.

If you use the option on the main page of FC that is just for the month.  Now realize that is all of your post, but may or may not be all that are eligible.  It is wise to go over the post to make sure that you are taken care of.
