There are some people that I am quite aware it is not worth my time to spread reason with, because reason eludes them.  For the rest, that have the capacity to feel for other human beings and may be living under a misconception, I address you in hopes that you will understand.

People fall in love with people.  People are born with the capacity to love other people.  People are born into their sexuality.  They make choices regarding religion and the actions they carry out.  Love, though, is not a choice.  Look at your significant other, look at your child and you will know this is true deep down inside.  To ask someone to deny what is in their heart when it comes to love is the worst blasphemy, IMO.  Ask a Christian, a Jew, a Muslim not to love their g-d and they will tell you it is not possible.  Because love is not a choice.  It is a way of life.

Now wait a minute Amy, you just turned this around what we were talking about. So lets look at what you said. You wrote:

Quote
If g-d does not make gay people, where do they come from, then?
I've got it!  Straight people make gay people.

And I answered that people become what they are, and what they do.....by choice, not because "God" made them or make them do anything. You then came back with different types of love and how we can't help but love our family, children, etc. While I agree about there being a natural love, there are also perversions to "natural love", to where it becomes unnatural and perverted (rape, incest, child molestation, etc.).

A love for God is ALSO a choice. Many people do not love Him, or want Him in their life. Just as they choose to reject his Word and what it says. So love is a choice Amy. God's love lead Him to a cross for all humanity. It's man's choice to accept or reject. Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc., all made a choice to become such as they are.

You and I have disagreed about this from our first post on this forum. No, I will not say anything different than what I have always said. Homosexuality is a sin against God, the Bible calls it a stink in God's nostrils, and an abomination. How can I compromise or gloss over the Truth of the Bible?  I can not, and will not. However, you can find those who call themselves Christians who will. There are also so called Christian denominations putting homosexuals in the Ministry. The highest form of blasphemy I can think of is to call evil good, and good evil.....and that is Biblical.

Now.....we can go in the same circle as we did before where you accuse me of not loving people. I can say again that I do love the sinner, but not the sin, etc. Let's not. We both are on different sides of this issue as far as dark is from dawn. It won't change.

Good evening.

What does your bible say about gay animals?    God created them too right?
Quote
Various forms of same-sex sexual activity have been recorded in more than 450 different species of animals by now, from flamingos to bison to beetles to guppies to warthogs. A female koala might force another female against a tree and mount her, while throwing back her head and releasing what one scientist described as “exhalated belchlike sounds.” Male Amazon River dolphins have been known to penetrate each other in the blowhole. Within most species, homosexual sex has been documented only sporadically, and there appear to be few cases of individual animals who engage in it exclusively

Why can't gay people get married like the rest of the population? If they want to get married and be miserable like everyone else, then let them. Who cares? I don't think its anyone's business what two consenting adults do with each other. Are they out murdering people? No. So, how is it hurting other people if they marry?

I think that people should mind their own business when it comes to this. Too many people sticking their nose in other peoples business these days. Oh, its a sin, omg, They're different. Eww they like other men... Screw that and anyone who thinks that way. How dare anyone judge them because of who they love. I'm not saying that anyone specifically here is acting like that, but a lot of people in this world look down their noses at others  bc it goes against their precious, man-written book, instead of thinking for themselves.

I totally agree!! It's not hurting anyone and it solves many of the problems that most of us don't even think about. Things like who is allowed to sign for your treatment in the hospital in an emergency, in a non-married couple heterosexual or homosexual if the couple is not legally bound then the hospital wastes precious time trying to track down a family member to get consent for your care. When the person that probably knows best your wishes and what kind of procedures that you would or would not consent to is standing right there. And I can't help but think about the court case of the woman who was fighting over the right to raise her daughter (fighting against the grandparents who were not a part of the child's life because they did not approve of their daughter's relationship with another woman) That child had TWO parents, yes they were both women, but they were raising a smart, well-adjusted child. As far as I am concerned that woman was still her parent!

** Looked for the specific case but couldn't find it.

I'm not sure if this is the case you're thinking about, but I remember one. It was made into a Lifetime TV movie, and I remember it actually being pretty good. "What Makes a Family" with Brooke Shields

I have stayed 100% on topic, and I did it without calling people evil or passing religious judgment on them.  Love is not a choice but a lifestyle.  In a country where we have religious freedom, gay marriage should be legal.  Otherwise, it is discrimination.

I will no longer be trolled.  Anyone else have something to say, I will be happy to address it.

Yes that was it! Wish I could find the actual case but the movie summary is good enough I guess. :)

Trolled ??? Amy, I posted twice in this thread before you came on board. I didn't call people evil so stop putting words in my mouth. However, sin that people commit, IS evil.

Like I said before, you and I have not agreed on this from the beginning. We and others have debated this long and hard in other threads. This is not personal, but a difference in beliefs. Both of us believe very strongly about this subject, and we are at totally opposite ends of the spectrum in our separate beliefs. That's just how it is.

I am going to hate myself for this tomorrow because I promised myself I would never respond to you again, and through my weakness I am taking the bait.

My posts were not aimed at you.  It is very clear my position on gay marriage by anyone who has ever conversed with me in this forum or outside (and you have done both), and I have the freedom to post my opinion in a gay marriage thread as much as you do, Annella.  You continuously direct your comments at me, though, when you know how adamant I am about my position.  Your words are wasted on me.

Saying repeatedly that we have debated this previously adds nothing to the topic, so why do you feel the need to do this?  This has no impact on my steadfast support of gay people and gay marriage.  Do you believe that making the weak comment about "the Bible says no" and "gay people are sinners" is really going to do anything other than make you look bad?  You are trolling me, Annella, just the way you troll people who disagree with you in other topics.

I would in no way attempt to impede on your freedom to post in this forum as you will.  Please stop trying to do so to me.

As for calling gay people evil:

Interpret it as you will.  There are as many interpretations of the Bible as there can be on your own statement.  Don't say something unless you are willing to stand by it 100%.  I, however, see absolutely no love in these words of yours.  So many words of yours are absent of love.  Not exactly the type of person I would wish to have preach to me.

A disagreement about homosexuality has nothing to do with anyone looking down their nose at anybody. As far as our man-written book as you call it, it's called the Bible. Some of us believe in what is written within it's pages. Homosexuality (according to the Bible) is a defilement of the people and their land. It's the same today. Sinful behavior does corrupt a people, including their land/Nation.

In fact, the judgement that you are accusing believers of exercising, is so clearly evident in your post against those who believe in the Bible and it's teachings.
You are a defilement of my people and our land..........all of Turtle Island.

I am very disappointed in your attitude towards her.  I've seen other posts in your threads between you and her where you shared things with her and she was very interested in your cause and supporting you with things that happened and are happening.  Is there a particular reason or are you letting your anger dictate?

What bait? I'm not baiting you....I'm voicing my own belief in a thread that interested me. When I posted in this thread, you were not even in it or posted anything yet. Something is very clearly wrong with your accusation of me trolling you Amy. Anybody can go back in this thread and read it all the way through to see that your accusation is unfounded. What I do see is an axe to grind, and it's not my axe. You are taking this way too personal, so it's time to let this go as it's not about the subject anymore. Why do I say that? Because of your words at the beginning of your post, then you say your posts are not aimed at me.

Quote
Don't say something unless you are willing to stand by it 100%.

There is NOTHING I have said that I would not stand by 100% concerning the Word of God. I've never waffled on anything I've said about the sin of homosexuality or anything I've posted in this forum anything Biblically. You've accused me of this before, and my answer to you is the SAME. What have I not stood by 100%?

Amy, both of us have every right to post in this public forum. Post away, and forget about if someone aims a post at you or not. Really.....who cares?  Believe me, it's not worth the aggravation. I'm not trying to impede on your freedom to post in this forum. Goodness, it's a silly forum for crying out loud! Sorry FC.

Have a good evening and spend some quality time with your family.....they are the ones that are worth any aggravation.

It's very simple, Ms. Julie. I am, as you have seen totally immersed in all the negative aspects of the ongoing genocide of The People, and over the course of time have tried to come to some understanding of the whys by studying the various mindsets and morals of the oppressors and she is the very embodiment of damned near every one of the vile, despicable and deranged thought processes that have caused the conditions many of our Relations live in today and the heinous murder of over 10 million of The People. Can you even begin to appreciate what 10 million dead Relatives would look like?

Annella constantly preaches and promotes the very ideas and warped mindset that has justified to those who would be deceived by her the destruction of Cultures around the world and multitudes of entire populations to become extinct. Were she to have her way, what is left of the Indigenous of this continent would cease to exist as well.

If it were not for the intolerant attitude of which she has to the extreme, all of our Nations would be living in peace and on equal footing, not as oppressors and oppressed. And we would not be a mere 1% of the population.

Annella should be the poster child of Christian oppression with the agenda of world domination. I have no word for the contempt I feel for her and her smug holier than thou sewage that she spews.

No, I don't.  Like sexes in a marriage is not what God created.  If you think it doesn't affect anyone else, you are sorely mistaken.  We are facing more judgement because of the abominations we are taking as acceptable.  Lord have mercy on us.

I totally agree with you.
