Well, maybe one reason I knew what you were referring to is the fact that I am totally fascinated by the ship, it's history, everything about it. My sons were always grateful for more than one TV in the house. If there was anything on History Channel, etc., having to do with the Titanic, they knew what the 'Commander-In-Chief' of the house was going to dictate as far as shows.
The Ripleys display sounds cool, cannot begin to imagine being in that water as possibly my last minutes here on Earth.
I have seen 2 artifact collections on loan in museums and they gave me such an odd/disturbed feeling. Seeing personal items, tea services intact as if nothing had happened, etc. - very eerie!
Yes, I took this more off topic, but wanted to let you know I am somewhat of a Titanic geek too.
