I Joined up with nielson and nielson Last nite downloaded their software like they request
And Guess to my surprize
This Moring I could not connect to the internet
Called my internet company who walked me though trying to fix it
In safe mode I was able to connect but not a good idea to do they then said it is your secruity/antiviriurs
so i call them  No It is not them  all is working fine and they did not block the internet connection
Last resort  I uninstalled the soft were from neilson and nielson reboooted the computer guess what
I was able to connect
There softwere was blocking my internet connection
And I know this because when I did this they had several questions for a reason for leaving and the top of the list was does it interfere with you internet conncection

Yes I did Last nite
and then everything was working fine shut the puter down
Then when I went to get online this morning  it was a no go
and you know how long it takes to get though tech support and others Etc
Screw around
They were confused also by the end
So I thought well maybe nelsoln and nielson had something to do with it
Sure enough

If you have shut down your computer since you downloaded the software
and have been able to get online since then you should be ok
I hope for you

i haven't tried the nielson and nielson offer because i dont like downloading software onto this laptop (i share it with my boyfriend).

can anyone tell me how big the file is?

and is it easy to uninstall afterwards?

i did that as an offer forever ago.. still have their software on my pc. and have been paid from them for taking surveys

here's the reason you could'nt connect.... i had this problem when i 1st installed it and was going to take it off to like you did but hubby figured it out for me.... it was your anti verse... you have to go in and make sure that you allow their software, if not then you won't beable to connect because their software runs on your internet taking info from the sites you go to to get info on the kinds of surveys to send you... you anti verse thinks it's spam or spyware so it blocks it there for blocking your net also without really knowing it. that's why they said all was fine on their end because on their end it was... on your end it was'nt.

i need somebody who is more computer wise than me(lol)
this antivirus I have trend it really keeps a tight rope on my computer
Like the tech told me she said sometime antivirus programs are almost too good
I bought this new dell and it came with it
I,m wondering maybe once its run out find a different antivirus

Cant remember how big the file was
but it was easy to uninstall
but you should only sign up if you are truly intrested in it as i was

not for me cause if its something to downloads then i won't do it.... i know how it is when you get a virus and you can't get rid of it unless you reformat... i have my own computer business and thats the number 1 call i get is about a virus so....
