They didn't even spell 'secret' correctly. Instead they spelled 'secrete'. LOL.

What a scam! Too much people trying to cheat someone daily. It is ridiculous. The sad thing is some of the individuals that get these fake checks are too greedy and get scam for being silly. No one receives something for nothing in America. Isn't it obvious that if a check shows up with your name for over $1000 and you don't know the person or company that sent it. Then it is definitely a scam. You can cash it since it has your name on it... BUT... after a few days your bank will contact you to repay the money. If you want more debts-cash those checks.

I wonder how many people would actually fall for these types of scams.... It is always so true that there is nothing in life as a free lunch...

It is extremely crazy that a lot of innocent individuals fall for these scam. On my previous job- working at a UPS call center, I remembered that many individuals, expecially ageable folk, would call in stating that they got a mail from UPS containing a check for thousands of dollars. These customers wanted my opinion and advice about what they should do. Normally I told them to contact their local authority or discard the check and forget about it.
One customer got upset and argued that her name was on the check and she did not understand how she could be scammed. I did explain it to her and then she understood clearly. Overall, many individuals are ignorant to the fact that they are the ones who have to repay the bank after they cash a fake check.

I get junk like this everyday in my email, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day.  I get these scam letters from Nigeria-they are  the worst.  I tried blocking them but they just create another email address and continue sending them.  Something should really be done about their blatantly trying to scam people.  I think they believe that people are so desperate and vunerable that they will believe anything.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GETTING SOMETHING FOR "FREE" :bootyshake:
