I dont believe in the motto but it depends. People do change in life some for the best and other stay the same. Just put your self in their shoes and the reason behind there action.

Every person has their own free will. If they know their actions are improper, they will stop. They will no longer walk further into the wrong path. Otherwise, the statement does apply until the person wakes up. The extent of the comeuppance will vary.

I do believe that people can change but it doesnt happen overnight. If I got cheated on it would take time for me to trust and with trust comes change

Nope.  It's possible for people to change, although it happens rarely.

Its sad to say but I believe this motto.. :/ I've been with the same person on/off for 2 years, & he has yet to stop cheating. Maybe I'm the one doing wrong for continuing to speak to him..

I believe in this. Especially if its with the same person. If someone cheats on you and you stay with them, why wouldn't they do it again? You've let them know they can get away with it with no consequences on their part, so why wouldn't they?

No that is not true!! People will change definitely but patience is necessary. Time will give the solution to them who have cheated

I don't believe it, because a person can change. However that doesn't mean I trust them right away. They have to earn that trust.

I think that the motto is sort of true. If they had the urge to cheat once, who is to say they will never do it again? Yeah, there is a SMALL chance that they would change, but like the other motto "people never change".

I believe in the motto.  Some people can change, but a cheater quite often keeps on cheating.
