Where can i cash my check? I live in Hawaii.

Do you guys have Wal-Marts? Not sure if Target does check cashing, maybe a supermarket or a bank that does not require you have an account with them?

Open a SAVING account at your local bank.  Once you have the account you should be able to cash the check via the bank.  They might require that you have a minimum deposit in the account, but this is a great way to get started.

Make sure there are no fees charged on the account -- if there are, go to another bank.

Believe that once you have the saving account, you will also be able to use direct deposit from FC in the future.  Ask customer service at the bank to make sure.

I signed up for direct deposit.  But I used to cash various checks at a local BP station.  They charged about a dollar, I think?  Do you have those in Hawaii?

In hawai'i I am not sure what island you live on, but I believe you are able to cash your check at Wal-mart. You could always look into opening a free checking account at Bank of Hawai'i, or First Hawaiian Bank.
