Not THE most bizarre, but ones I think are interesting:

*The Statue of Liberty's fingernails weigh almost 100 pounds each.

*The London Zoo employs an "entertainment director" for the animals - and they are paid a VERY good wage for what they do! A friend's son did this for 2 summers, as a sub-director, while in college or as they say, university.

I could go on forever in this topic. My friends/family have always called me The Trivia Queen and still want me to go on "Jeopardy" . They're convinced I could make some big $$$$.

Those are great ones!   Did you know that if a female ferret does not find a mate while in heat, she could die?
or that if you add up the letters of the names of the cards in a deck (ten, jack queen, etc) they add up to 52....the same as the number of cards in a deck.

True. They can go headless for up to a week. Without a head they cannot drink water to survive. They can live off food for a month. The most bizarre fact I know cockroaches can feed off anything that is not edible to humans like glue. Their blood is white. When I saw a dead (smashed up) roach, it was not a pretty sight. What is even more bizarre there are other countries (not to name them) that even eat these gross insects.

Heres a cool fact:  Take the last two digits in the year of which you were born, now add the age you will be this year. The results will be 111 for everyone in the world!

The length of your forearm is the size of your foot. I've even set my foot on my forearm and it's true! I was shocked!  I have really big feet xD

That only works for people born before the year 2000, and would only work until after the year 2000. Eg someone born in 2000 would be 11 this year, and 00+11=11 not 111. Similarly, a person born in 1989 would have "91" as their number in the year 1990 (1 year old + 90=91)...

I used to have a book on strange laws that I found interesting... One that I still remember is that in Georgia, Kentucky, and i believe New York it is illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your pocket.

In Virginia it is legal to beat your wife on the steps of the court house if: it is a wednesday and the rod is no larger around than your thumb.  They realy should remove these old things from the books!
